The more children understand how the body works, especially in regard to natural reactions to fear and anger, the better they will become at controlling these sometimes irrational episodes. Here are videos on these topics.
KidCash Tip: Explaining how the brain is causing stress to the body at the time of an episode and again later at the daily meeting is a great way to get through to them, especially when it causes them to get their allowance docked. Praise positive changes when you see them try to improve.
