Returns and refunds
You have 30 days from the day your kit arrives to send it back for a refund. This page is the practical half: how to start a return, who pays the postage, and what happens once it reaches us.
The policy, in short
- 30 days from receiving the Kit to return it for a refund to the original payment method.
- The Kit must be unused and in resalable condition.
- Return shipping is yours to pay, unless the Kit arrived faulty, damaged, or was not what you ordered, in which case it is ours.
This is the policy set out in Section 7 of our Terms of Use, and it applies to every order.
How to start a return
Email support@kidcash.com within 30 days of your kit arriving, and include:
- your order number, or the email address you ordered with;
- whether you are returning the whole kit or reporting a problem with it; and
- a photograph, if something arrived damaged or was not what you ordered.
Please email us before you post anything. We will reply with what to do next, and it means we can log the return against your order and know to expect the parcel.
Who pays the postage
If you are returning a kit because you changed your mind, the cost of sending it back is yours. We recommend a tracked service, because the kit is your responsibility until it reaches us.
If the kit arrived faulty, damaged, or was not what you ordered, the return postage is ours. Tell us before you post it and we will arrange or reimburse it.
What happens next
Once your return arrives we check that the kit is unused and resalable, then refund it to the original payment method. That is usually done within a few days, and always within 10 business days of your return reaching us. You will get an email when the refund is sent. How long it then takes to appear on your statement is up to your bank or card issuer, and is usually a few working days after that.
Questions
Email support@kidcash.com and we will help. For subscriptions to the KidCash app, refunds are handled by Apple rather than by us, and are covered in Section 5 of the Terms of Use.
