Support

KidCash is an iPhone app for parents. It turns the rules you already have at home into five kinds of play money a child earns and spends — screen time, candy, activities, savings and giving — so “can I have it?” becomes a lesson instead of a fight.

Below are the questions we get most. If yours isn’t here, email us — a real person reads it.

Common questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

Cancelling happens in Apple’s subscription settings, not inside KidCash. Open Settings › Manage subscription in the app and it will take you straight there.

Because Apple handles the billing, we cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf. Cancel before the 7‑day free trial ends and you will not be charged.

What does it cost?

KidCash is free to download and free to use for a family. KidCash Plus is $7.99 per month or $69.99 per year, and both plans start with a 7‑day free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.

The paper kit and the book are sold separately and are not subscriptions. See FAQ & pricing.

I already paid, but KidCash Plus isn’t showing up

Open Settings › Restore purchases in the app. That asks Apple to re-check your account and is the fix for a new phone, a reinstall, or a subscription that was bought on a different device.

Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account that bought the subscription. If it still doesn’t appear, email us.

Where is my family’s data kept?

On your own iPhone and in your own iCloud account. It syncs between your devices through iCloud, under your Apple Account.

KidCash runs no server and holds no copy of it. That means we cannot read what you record, and we cannot recover it for you if you delete it. It also means nobody at KidCash can see your child’s name, photos or history. The Privacy Policy spells this out in full.

Can my child have their own login?

No. One adult account holds the whole family, and there is no way to give a second person their own way in.

Kid Mode is a handover on your own phone — you pass the device to your child and take it back. It is not an account and has no sign-in of its own. Everyone who holds a KidCash account must be at least 18.

How do I sign in?

Sign in with Apple is the only way in. There is no password to create and no email and password to forget.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings › Delete account in the app. That removes your account and your family’s records.

Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription — Apple handles that separately, so cancel it in Apple’s subscription settings as well.

Which devices does it work on?

iPhone, running iOS 17 or later. KidCash is not yet built for iPad, Mac or Apple Vision Pro. The App Store age rating is 4+.
